this is something that can happen in any family. the movie is not a commercial entertainer, but a stretched emotional drama. not a routine love story. prithvi n vedhika have acted well. 2hr 48min is too long. the movie cud hav been made crisp to 2hrs.

The directorial debut of Sujith Vasudev comes with a good family entetainer. Its not a typical family drama but the makers has included some fantasy also which can't digestive to an average malayali. sometims we feels the film little lagging in second half as it has a run time of 2hrs 48mins. As always prithvi has done his part superb and the heroine devika is also pretty good. Those who are going to watch the movie don't expect a love story. The cinematography is also good and the songs are decent. My rating is 3.5/5

To tell you the truth, if you are young and below 20, theres every possibility that you are not going to enjoy James and alice..This movie is strictly for an audience who are mature enough in dealing with relationships.In otherwords, family especially after 30 age audience can relate this movie.IMO, this is the best prithviraj movie after ennu ninte moideen.

A superb film with an excellent story of 'Sujith Vasudev' written wonderfully by 'Dr S Janardhanan', outstanding performance from the Actors especially 'Prithviraj' as the young guy into the matured man and 'Vedhika' is very good , brilliant cinematography by 'Sujith Vasudev' the director himself, wonderful background music by 'Gopi Sundar' and last but not the least 'Sujith Vasudev' has done a very good job as a director. James and Alice is a movie that will want you to come back and watch once again.
