Sorry Deepika Padukone! Salman Khan Will Romance Ex-Girlfriend Katrina Kaif In Kabir Khan's Next


Director Kabir Khan was trying to cast Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan together in his movie Tubelight. But it seems that Deepika had certain demands before signing the film and Kabir was in no mood to fulfil them and that is why he has replaced her with Salman's ex girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

According to a report in DNA, ''Katrina Kaif has been finalised to replace Deepika in the Kabir Khan directorial. Deepika was reportedly unhappy with her role and wanted Kabir to increase her portions in the film. But Kabir doesn't like altering his scripts according to actor's demands hence he refused to budge.''





Now, Kabir Khand has approached his good friend Katrina Kaif for his film. The director is now in advanced talks with Katrina and it's almost certain that she will give her nod to the movie.

Talking about the film, Kabir Khan told a leading daily, ''Needless to say that my films always have political backdrops because these are the kind of stories that excited me. So, that's always gonna be there. As far as story goes, it is very different to what I've done so far. The film is on a territory that Salman and I have not ventured yet. So, we are excited about it."


Reportedly, Katrina Kaif is also doing Aanand L Rai's nex tfilm opposite Shahrukh Khan which goes on floors later this year.

Well, Deepika Padukone's loss is Katrina Kaif's gain.

 

There were reports that Deepika Padukone had walked out of Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ as she felt she didn’t have a substantial role. However, Kabir has denied the reports and had stated that he never approached Deepika for the film. And now, it is said that Katrina Kaif might be starring opposite Salman Khan in the film.

Katrina and Kabir have worked together in films like ‘New York’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Phantom’. So, we won’t be surprised if these reports turn out to be true.

Salman-Kabir Khan’s Next: Auditions For Chinese Actors Started

Actor Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan are collaborating third time for their next. The director has started auditions but this one is for a different one.


Kabir Khan needs Chinese actors for this film. As per Kabir, a Chinese boy of age around 5 to 7 and a man around 30 to 35 is required for the film.

Kabir and Salman had previously collaborated forEk Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film is set to go on floors in July at Ladakh. The details of the lead female is still not confirmed.

It is almost sure that this venture between the two will be another success. The film is set to release next year in Eid.

Kabir Khan and Salman Khan have earlier delivered blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman and director Kabir will reunite for the third time for their next project. The film, which is slated to release on Eid 2017, will be a human drama.



The first schedule of the film will be filmed in Ladakh. They will start shooting in July. Kabir will be exploring an Indo-China backdrop. Rumour has it, the film will evolve around Salman’s character, his brother and a child from China.



Names of several actresses like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and others were doing the rounds for playing the leading lady, but the makers have yet to finalize it. Presently, Salman Khan is busy with Sultan promotions.



After Kabir Khan’s film, he will start work on Rajkumar Santoshi’s movie. He will also do a project with Sooraj Barjatya. Sultan will release on Eid this year.
