Several spy images later, what seems to be the final production version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan has been spotted.

Gone is the sinister matte black attire of the test mules, and in comes a camouflage/military themed colouration. Done up in shades of blue and contrasted with white, it could very well be wrap rather than a paintjob. The fuel tank, the high set front mudguard and the side panels will be painted (or wrapped) in these army colors.

Suspension, engine, rims, fenders and other cycle parts are sheathed in matte black, which look the part. The round, clear lens headlamp is fairly large, and gets a matte silver finished surround. The Royal Enfield name is hosted on a plaque that rests in between the braces on either side of the fuel tank. These braces also support the fixed headlamp.

The underbelly guards are done up in grey, while the levers and handlebar weights are finished off in chrome. It’s not clear whether the pannier is the image is a genuine RE accessory, or an aftermarket fitment.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan, due in January 2016, will be a purpose built touring machine, and the freshest Royal Enfield that the brand has seen in over a century. The Himalayan will debut with an all-new 410cc, oil-cooled engine that will reportedly deliver 24 bhp. The engine is likely to be strapped to a five-speed transmission.

KTM revealed its updated RC390 motorcycle at the recently concluded 2015 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. Now, according to a new report from motoring website ZigWheels, this new model is expected to reach the Indian showrooms in January 2016. The motorcycle is completely manufactured and exported to the international markets from Bajaj’s production facility in Pune, India.

For 2016, the feature rich Indo-Austrian Moto3 inspired motorcycle benefits from slipper clutch, a larger front disc brake (320mm), Ride-by-wire technology, switchable ABS, adjustable front brake and clutch lever and a new aluminium exhaust to meet Euro 4 emission norms. Moreover, for 2016, the brakes on the KTM RC390 are developed in cooperation with Brembo to provide enhanced stopping power once the anchor is dropped.
