    80-82s establishment of the star
    83 rise to superstardom from what followed was rocking days of mammookka the megastar till 1996( hitler days) (a setback in 1986 and still he managed toget the biggest hit of the year which says the huge popularity he had back then)... from 1986 mohanlal , slowly but steadily established himself......mammookka took a step back post 96 in mollywood meanwhile had good time out in tamil with anaandam kandukondein marumalarchi etc alongwith films that kept him akin with glory like bhothakannadi and national award for ambedkar...2001-2003 was possibly worse period for both superstars post narasimham with them releasing only a few films and onlysome like valyettan chrnicbachelor balettan ravanaprabhu etc clicked where soft porn film rose rapidly...then saw the dominant days of mammookka till 2010 ...2011-2012 worse days and 2013-2014 slowly winning hearts and 2015 again getting back to glory days slowly but steadily!!while lal post drishyam struggles!!

    97-2003 though not as good still had fantastic moments like bhoothakanadi 1997; truth 1998; national award 1999; valyettan 2000;kandukondein2000; chronic bachleor 2003 etc)
    (97-bhoothakanadi;98-marumalarchi, harikrishnans, truth, maravathur kanav;1999-national award;2000-valyetan, dada saheb, kandukndein;2001-anandham;rakshasarajav? ;2002 - dany;2003-chrocic bachelor)
    2004-2010 again heydays
    2011-12 again worse period
    2013-15 slowly gaining foothold thru immanuel, munnariyip, varsham, bhaskar, fireman, pathemari etc
