Dhanush's 'Thodari' Trailer: Yet Another Winner From Prabhu Solomon? Dhanush's Thodari trailer is here. Directed by Prabhu Solomon of Mynaa and Kumki fame, it looks like the movie is a mystery-thriller with high-octane action sequences. The 2 minute 27 second trailer offers enough footage of the film, making the plot of Thodari, pretty much apparent. You always expect lots of greenery and scenic beauty in a Prabhu film and Thodarimight not be any different. Vetrivel Mahendran's cinematography is something to watch out for, when the movie releases. Also, it looks like the film will be high on comedy as a couple of noteworthy comedians in Thambi Ramaiah and Karunakaran are seen in the neatly cut trailer. Overall, Thodari might have something for everyone, a success formula, Prabhu Solomon has been using for quite some time now.
National Award winner, Dhanush is doing some very interesting films off late. One of his latest projects is Thodari and has Keerthi Suresh as the female lead. The film’s first look was released a short while ago and some interesting facts about the film and Dhanush were revealed by the makers. Speaking at the occasion, director Prabhu Solomon revealed that Dhanush was so involved in the project right from the day one that he wrapped up the entire dubbing of his part in just a day. Generally, stars take at two to three days to finish their dubbing but seeing Dhanush’s dedication, everyone had only good things to say about the star hero’s dedication. Touted to be a complete romantic thriller, Thodari is up for release this September.
Dhanush, who has always been experimenting variety of roles in his films and Prabhu Solomon, who explores the milieu of unsung personalities of our society, are united for ‘Thodari’. Here comes a refreshing trailer that gives a subtle, yet a neat establishment of the story plot and the characterizations. The trailer assertively suggests that the film is all about the current takes of what’s happening around our society. In an extended conjugation of various shots, all the lead characters have been established, but still we can’t make a conclusion of what would it actually is. Dhanush, the railway pantry worker in ‘Thodari’, is all set to make us see his yet another dimension in acting. Keerthy Suresh in an unusual role leaves an impression, on our mind. Other casts including Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and Ganesh Venkatram represent their own traits that befit their role. Dialogues are impressive, which have sarcasm and sensibility in it. Vetrivel Mahendren’s shots in the trailer are stunning and relatively functional. D. Imman’s background score sets up a mood to the story backdrop. On the whole, ‘Thodari’ trailer has all the elements to pull audience into theaters.
