Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz on the sets of Rustom



After 'Baby' and 'Special 26' Akshay Kumar is coming up with his new venture titled 'Rustom' with his facvourite director Neeraj Pandey.



The film is based on the real life instances of a naval officer Rustom Pavri. Ileana D'Cruz plays the leading lady in the thriller film.



Here's a new pic from the sets of Rustom where the two lead actors are seen dressed up like in the era of 50s.



Tinu Suresh Desai's directorial venture will hit the theaters on 12 August 2016.

Akshay Kumar’s Rustom is one of the most awaited movies of the year. With two back to back hits, the superstar seems to be in a prime form and his fans are not in a mood to wait anymore for Rustom.

Akshay Kumar has shared a new poster of Rustom on his social profiles and it has certainly raised our expectations. The poster features Akshay Kumar as navy officer asking question about his patriotism.
As posted by Akshay, the trailer of Rustom will be unveiled on 30 June 2016. Directed by debutant Tinu Desai, Rustom also stars Illeana D’Cruz (Akshay Kumar’s wife), Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa in pivotal roles. Set in the late 1950s, the movie is inspired from famous Nanavati murder case and is expected to have a strong romantic and thrilling plot.

The Akshay Kumar starrer is slated to release on 12 Aug 2016 along with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro. The trailer of Mohenjo Darohasn’t been well received, thus all eyes are now set on Rustom trailer.
