    My favourite moment in Kabali.
    Thalaivar hasn't done romance like this since Thalapathy.
    He hasn't had (or was never given) the opportunity to go through loss or pain or love in its true form, in films after that where heroine(s) always came behind him singing songs about how glorious he is. And when he's given an opportunity to perform some true romance, he is so bloody good, along with the incredible Radhika Apte in this scene where they are reunited. And of course, the mesmerising 'Maya Nadhi' song which follows this scene and the lovely moments between Kabaleeshwaran & Kumudhavalli who find love again in their old age. How I wish the whole movie had many more beautiful moments like this. And I hope that he breaks free of all these market pressures and does a pure romantic movie sometime, or even a full-on comedy like Thillu Mullu. There is so much potential left untapped in him beneath the superstardom, that it's a crime if it's not explored or celebrated!
