The much-awaited audio of NTR’s Janatha Garage is finally out in the market. Composed by the super talented Devi Sri Prasad, let’s now see how this album turns out to be.

Song 1 : Jayaho Janatha

Analysis : The album kick starts with the song Jayaho Janatha. Probably, the best song on this album, this number hits you right away. Right from Sukhwinder Singh’s superb singing to the Arabic instruments used in this song, this number has it all. Being a montage song, this number has all the right emotions and connects to you on an emotional level with its beautiful lyrics and tune.

Song 2 : Pranamam

Analysis : The second song on the album is the interesting number Pranamam. What hits you right away are the very well written lyrics. Shankar Mahadevan takes this number to another level with his singing and DSP nicely gels Indianized instruments with western beats making this song an instant hit. This number will hit you more once you see the beautiful visuals on screen.

Song 3 : Rock on Bro

Analysis : Moving on, the album continues with yet another energetic number Rock on Bro. This number instantly reminds you of DSP’s Bratakali song from his own album Oosaravelli. But what clicks for this song is the amazing singing and meaningful lyrics which have been nicely interlaced with each other. This number will hit you more once you listen to it multiple times.

Song 4 : Apple Beauty

Analysis : The fourth song in the album is the fun number Apple beauty. Once again, there is nothing much in terms of music as this number has a basic beat. Lyrics by Ram Jogayya Sastry as quite quirky and manage to impress. The peppy mood of the song helps matters much and makes you like this song to an extent.

Song 5 : Nee Selavadigi

Analysis : Moving on, the next song in the album is the emotional breakup number Nee Selavadigi which hits you instantly. Probably, this is DSP’s best works in the recent times. The way he uses the pain in heroine’s character and extracts a soulful voice from his singer is just amazing. Once again a montage number, this song is one of the best on the album.

Song 6 : Pakka Local

Analysis : As expected, the album is summed up with a typical mass number called Pakka Local. As usual, Devi Sri Prasad unleashes his best in such songs and gives the queen of item numbers, Geetha Madhuri a free hand to use her husky voice. The hookup line hits you instantly and will be a treat to see NTR and a top heroine shake a leg in this song.

Verdict:-

On the whole, Janatha Garage is surely not Devi Sri Prasad’s best works till date. The sound and feel of the album are quite old but Devi shows his brilliance by going with the mood of the film and giving the right song for every situation. Jayaho Janatha, Nee Selavadigi and Pranamam are our picks and will go well with everyone. Finally, this is an emotional album which gives importance to the situations in the film and will grow on you more when you listen to them multiple times.
