    Pritviraj is learning to fly aeroplane for his upcoming movie Vimanam, to be directed by Pradeep M Nair. Retired pilot S K J Nair is going to teach Prithvi the art of flying. He will be donning the role of a differently abled mechanic who flies planes 800 metre above sea level. The heroine will be a fresh face.

    Pradeep started the work after drawing inspiration from Saji Thomas, who built Ultra-Light aircraft on his own. He is a congenitally deaf and dumb person from Idukki. “But this will not be a retrospective film on Saji. Prithviraj will be neither deaf nor dumb in the film,” said Saji who was not forthcoming about the characters.

    There are many aerial shots in the film. Three ultra-light aircrafts are being built with the help of Saji for the shooting purpose. Ultra-light aircraft licence will be issued only to those who have completed 40 hours of piloting the flight.

    Gopi Sundar has composed songs for the film. Prithvi will start shooting from January 20.
