Bobby Simha picks a dramedy for his Mollywood comeback Bobby Simha is all set to make a comeback in Malayalam. The actor, who was last seen in a cameo in 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie', will join his 'Jigarthanda' co-star Siddharth and Dileep in a pivotal role in Rathish Ambat's 'Kammarasambhavam'. Confirming the casting, Bobby tells us, "Yes, I have signed the movie and will start shooting from September 20 in Kochi. It's got a brilliant script and I am excited to work with Dileep in the film." About his character, the National Award winning actor says, "I can't reveal much about the role except that I play a Malayali who has his roots in Tamil Nadu. But all my portions are set in Kerala and I will be speaking Malayalam and Tamil in the film." On signing the Malayalam venture amid his packed schedule in Kollywood, the actor explains, "After 'Neram', I also wanted to do Malayalam films as I keep following the movies. I was waiting for the right script and role, and this movie sort of ticked all the right boxes." Despite having actors such as Siddharth and himself as part of the cast, Bobby also says that the movie will not be a bilingual. The film, scripted by Murali Gopy, is about the adventures of a man named Kammaran, played by Dileep.

Vinay Forrt teams up with Dileep in Georgettan's Pooram Actor Vinay Forrt is a happy man these days! He has turned dad to a baby boy and also bagged two movies with actor Dileep, with whom he will be sharing screen space for the first time. The films are Biju Arookutty's Georgettan's Pooram and Rathish Ambat's Kammarasambhavam “In Georgettan's Pooram, I play a friend to Dileep named Vavachan and people call him Vava. He is a jobless guy and the movie is about a few unemployed people whom we usually see in every village spending time chit-chatting in street corners,“ says Vinay . He adds that Vava is concerned about social evils, however. “Vavachan is also looking for a bride but he finds it tough to find one,“ he says. On acting with Dileep, he says, “I have always been in awe of Dileepettan. He is a star who rose from nothing. After working with him, I realised how important hard work is.He had some challenging rope stunts to do and I was amazed to see him give it his all,“ he says. In Kammarasambhavam, Vinay will be seen as an abkari contractor. “My character is named Chandrabhanu. The film will be a totally different one. I am glad to be part of it,“ he says. Apart from this, Vinay is waiting for the release of Godse directed by Sherry and Shyju Govindan in which he plays the lead as an anarchist-drunkard radio announcer, Harichandran.
