Few days back, there were reports that suggested that the Barfi and Rustom actress Ileana D'Cruz had been roped in to feature in Aankhen 2. However, the actress put these rumours to rest clarifying that she was not part of the project. Now we hear that Ileana will feature in the soon to go on floors Anil Kapoor - Arjun Kapoor starrerMubaraka. In fact sources close to the film stated that though the makers of Mubaraka have approached the actress to feature in the film, she is yet to give a green signal. Commenting on the same Ileana's manager says, "Yes Ileana has been approached to play a role in Mubaraka, however it is still too early to make a decision. We should have more clarity on the subject within the next ten days." As for the film, Mubaraka that is directed by Anees Bazmee is scheduled to go on floors in November and will see Arjun Kapoor playing a double role and sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor, who incidentally plays the actor's uncle in the film. Said to be a melange of The Big Fat Greek Wedding meets No Entry with ample amounts of romance, comedy and a big fat Indian wedding, the shoot for Mubaraka will take place in Mumbai, parts of Punjab and either Spain or London.

While there have been rumours of the same for quite some time now, Kangna recently decided to talk about the film. Though she continuously maintained that the film in question is at a premature stage, she did mention about Sanjay Leela Bhansali approaching her for the film and that he wanted her to work with Shah Rukh Khan. The constant meetings between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan had also fueled up rumours about the latter playing the role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati. On the other hand, the details of this untitled venture are being kept under wraps and none of them divulged any details about the genre or the theme of the film. Currently, Kangna Ranaut is busy with films like Rani Laxmibai and Simran. She will also kick start the promotions of the Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor starrerRangoon soon. Shah Rukh Khan is busy with Imtiaz Ali's next with Anushka Sharma and Aanand L.Rai's next. He will also soon be seen in Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi and Rahul Dholakia's Raees next year.
Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming biopic on Sanjay Dutt is making scintillating news currently. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor getting into the shoes of Sanjay Dutt. Reports stating that none other than Aamir Khan has been approached for playing the role of Sunil Dutt, Sanjay’s father. This will be the second time Ranbir and Aamir will be seen together on screen after PK. It is a known fact that Aamir Khan is a very close friend of Sanjay Dutt, and hence very likely be keen to accept the role. How apt would such a casting call be, is being debated, since Aamir bears very minimal resemblance to Sunil Dutt. Nevertheless, the actor who’s currently busy with Dangal, joining Ranbir is so much excitement to wait for confirmations.
