01/09/2016 Q Cinemas,7:15pm 40-50% Janatha Garage is a quality entertainer backed by Powerful Performances from the lead cast,eventhough it has all the cliches you expect from a mass masala,the overall packaging by the director made this one better - both in quality & entertainment.Lalettan - Majestic ,just his intense look is enough to dominate the screen,such a fabulous performer ,the 1st half belongs entirely to this man,his subtle performance clubbed with his arresting screen presence made it a superb watch,each & every scene having Lalettan is superb .Jr Ntr is good,i'm watching his performance for the first time,neatly done.Unni did his part well.Others were good. 1st half is good,starts off superbly with a simple intro of Lalettan,the build up of his character was done smartly.1st half basically tells 2 parallel stories,one involving Lalettan & Janatha Garage & the other being Ntr's.The interval scene is good,Lalettan's expression during those scenes .2nd half started nicley,but towards the middle,it lost its tempo,but 2-3 nicely etched out emotional scenes of Lalettan & Ntr made it interesting.Climax came all of a sudden,still ok considering the genre. Technically,Janatha Garage is rich.Dop is superb,may it be the action scenes or the song sequences,Dop served a quality purpose.Editing is good,lenght could have been a little shorter.Music is okay,Jai Ho Janatha & Pucca local were good.Bgm is superb,especially the theme music .Direction by Siva is good,he made it a perfect commercial outing with all the needed ingredients.
