    Oppam To Break Premam Box Office Record?

    Oppam, the recently released Mohanlal movie is performing extremely well at the theatres. As per the latest updates, the trade analysts expect that Oppam will break the box office record of Premam.

    The Nivin Pauly starrer is the fastest Malayalam movie to cross 10 Crores gross collection. If things fall in place, the Mohanlal starring suspense thriller will soon break the record of Premam.

    The Priyadarshan movie has made an initial collection of Rs. 1.56 Crores on its releasing day. Even though it is not an impressive figure, Oppam managed to collect 7.24 Crores, within the first weekend of its release.

    The highly positive reviews helped the movie to improve the collections, and it made a gross collection of 1.77 Crores on the second day of release. The movie made a collection of 1.89 Crores on the 3rd day.

    On the 4th day, Oppam managed to collect 2.02 Crores. The team expect that the movie will surely break the record of Premam, as there is a remarkable increase in box office collection after the first weekend.

    It is undoubtedly a grand comeback for both Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, who were going through a low phase. As per the reports, Oppam is all set to be remade into all major Indian languages, soon.

    2013 had Drishyam.
    2014 had Banglore Days
    2015 had Premam
    Such a film has been absent from 2016 timeline till now...the biggest grosser being JSR with collections around 22-23 cr.
    2016'le that film is Oppam?
    Everything points to that...uncontrollable rush in theatres...huge unavailability of tickets.....remake rumours in diff languages...families rushing to screens....we will have to wait and see if Oppam can cross the 40cr barrier in KBO!!
