Vinu Mohan is an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema. [1][2] His debut was through the award-winning movie Nivedyam by A. K. Lohithadas. He is the grandson of late actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair, son of actress Sobha Mohan and nephew of actorSaikumar.[3]

Personal life[edit]
Vinu Mohan was born to Mohan and Shobha Mohan. His mother Shobha Mohan is the daughter of Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nairand sister of prominent Malayalam actor Saikumar.He did his schooling at Boys higher Secondaray school Karunagappally .[4] He has a younger brother named Anu Mohan who recently made his debut through the Malayalam film Orkut Oru Ormakoot. Vinu is married to actress Vidhya Mohan who was his co-star in Ee Thirakkinidayil.

Career[edit]
He started his career with the multilingual film Ajantha, but its release was delayed till 2012. His first release was Nivedyam, for which he won the Asianet Best New Face Award in 2007. Saikumar was cast as the villain in the film Cycle, in which Vinu Mohan played the hero along with Vineeth Sreenivasan. In 2009, he acted alongside Mammootty in the filmChattambinadu. His upcoming film is Bombay Mittayi.

Thomas James, better known by his stage name, Manikuttan, is an Indian film and television actor.[1]

Personal life[edit]
He was born Thomas James to James and Eliyamma in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.[2] He attended St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Trivandrum and studied commerce at Mahatma Gandhi College.

Career[edit]
His debut film is Varnachirakukal(1999)-Children's film.[3]

Before that he appeared in lots of dramas in Doordarshan, as child artist.

He is the hero of the Campus Film "Oru Peelekanenta oormakke" taken by M.G College Trivandrum in 2004

He appeared first in the television series Kayamkulam Kochunni, which was aired on Surya TV.

His first film appearance was in the Malayalam-language film Boyy Friennd (2005) directed by Vinayan.[4]

KAILASH

Kaillash (born Siby Varghese) is an Indian film actor who has appeared in a number of Malayalam films.[1]

Career[edit]
He started his career as a junior artist and his big break came in the Malayalam film Neelathaamara (2009) by Lal Jose.[2] He acted in notable roles in the films Shikkar, The Hunt,Banking Hours 10 to 4, 10:30 am Local Call and most recently, Thank You.[3]

Bhoomiyude Avakashikal by T.V.Chandran, in which Kaillash plays the lead role, was screened at many international film festivals. This marked a comeback for the actor to a powerful role after a certain time gap.[4]

Maqbool Salmaan is an Indian film actor who appears in Malayalam films.[1]

The son of television actor Ibrahimkutty and the nephew of actor Mammooty. Maqbool made his acting debut by playing a short role in A. K. Saajan's Asuravithu (2012). He later played the lead role in Aneesh Upasana's directorial debut film Matinee (2012).

Early life and family[edit]
Maqbool Salmaan was born in Vaikom, Kottayam district, Kerala as the son of television actor Paniparambil Ismail (P.I.) Ibrahimkutty and his wife Sameena. Maqbool has a sister, Tania Amjith. Maqbool attended the Labour India Gurukulam Public School, Marangattupilly, Kottayam. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from theOxford College, Bangalore. Being the nephew of film star Mammootty, Maqbool had a passion towards acting since his school days.[2]

Career[edit]
After completing his graduation, Maqbool decided to take up acting seriously. He never wanted to use his uncle's identity and fame to make his entry into cinema.[2] So like any other actor, he began appearing for auditions. He was chosen by Ranjan Pramod for a film; however, it failed to take off.[3] He then approached director Fazil who was looking for new faces for the film Living Together but was rejected a role.[3] He struggled for over a year to finally get a chance in a film by A. K. Saajan, who cast him in the lead role. When this project shelved due to some technical reasons, Saajan approached Maqbool again with the script of Asuravithu who signed it without any hesitation. He was cast in a short but important role in this action flick which starred Asif Ali in the lead role.[2] The film was not a commercial success but Maqbool's performance garnered appreciation.[4]

The acclaim Maqbool gained through Asuravithu helped still photographer Aneesh Upasana choose him for the lead role in Matinee which would mark the latter's directorial debut. The film was produced by AOPL Entertainment which had earlier that year successfully launched Maqbool's cousin Dulquer Salmaan through Second Show.[5] Matineeopened to positive reviews from critics and audiences alike and was declared a hit. Maqbool also won positive feedback for his performance with the critic from Rediff saying "Maqbool's 'the guy next door' look in the film lend authencity to the character he plays."[6]

His third film was Parayan Baaki Vechathu, released in 2014, a political thriller by Karim, who had earlier directed Agni Nakshatram. Anumol was Maqbool's heroine in the film.[7]

Kerala Today is directed by debutant Kapil, who was an associate of renowned directors in malayalam.

Maqbool's upcoming release is Dhooram.Dhooram is a romantic movie by Manu Kannanthaanam. Maqbool plays the protagonist named Dennis. The twins sisters Aina and Aima are the heroines. Other cast of the movie are Bhagath Manuel, Archana Kavi, Shine Tom Chacko. Music is by Muhammad Riswan.
