I mean, ikkakk ini ippo onnum theliyikkan illa..still, im saying a 30cr movie is not impossible still. Karnan sambhavichal athu ikkede career'le one of the best aakanam.
Issue is actually not stardom or fanbase and all that...issue is a good film which has box office potential. Lalettanu nalla moshan time aayirunnu after drishyam till oppam. JG, Vismayam ennoke fans paranjalum athonnum kottan pattilla...malayalam superstarnte telugu cinema alla nokkande. He got 2 back to back good movies...and because of his stardom, good movie+good wom+lalettan stardom=ATBB and IH. Same time'l ikka has been giving good movies, but those good movies are not really box office material..like pathemari and munnariyip. Even his superhit BTR was actually a pathetic movie to be honest, but that went on to become a superhit. Record initial kasaba ittu, so he still has stardom, but because the movie was very bad, it couldnt sustain. In the mean time, lalettan gave duds and pathetic movies like fraud, koothara,peruchazhi,lol,ee and kanal. But he had a dishyam in his hand. ikkede situatiuon was also the same, pathetic movies like praise the lord,manglish,balyakalasakhi,gangster,white etc etc. in terms of movie material,ikka was leading from 2013-2016 due to munnariyipp and pathemari. lalettan didnt have even a not-so-bad movie aftr drishyam till oppam. This is actually the time when Nivin and DQ, Prithvi also, rose higher up the ranks. 2013-16...because the BigM's were giving such duds. Again this shows...good movies with BO potential is what is needed. There is a significant difference in stardom bw ikka and ettan...yes...but i am sure ikka if given a good movie will reach 30cr.
