'Rajappan' troll's'nte peak time aayirunnu athu. Screen'l prithvi vannappol thanne kore oola fans janmangal koovi thudangi. Pakshe cinema kazhinjappol ellarum kaiyyadichu. Annu njan Prithvi fan aayi. Swantham abhiprayam evideyum thurannu parayan chankootamulla aankutti. Thilakan's outstanding comeback and ranjith's top notch screenplay. Athile reema'ye pole oru pennine venam ennaanu aagraham....such a nice character. All in all...a superb movie...a movie that has many beautiful moments...like thilakan advicing the groom in pennukanal scene. kidu. One of my favourites.
"Janatha Garage:" Great mechanics working a poor engine. One main positive is matured direction, so as a director Siva succeeds. However, as a scriptwriter, he failed. Another positive is the performances of the actors, which range from good to great. Great mechanics represents their performances while the poor engine represents the script/story. One problem I found with Jr. NTR's character was his contradicting ideas. He stops anything that affects the environment badly, but he driving around a Royal Enfield which emits carbon monoxide. He was giving advises about the environment and I was like "who cares dude." So, I didn't felt the connection with his character, and his ways of preserving the environment should have been more realistic. But, flaws of his character should have been forgiven if the movie was at least entertaining. The second half of this movie is just boring. Rating 2/5.
