    A small new journey had started by the end of August when i had a one and a half hour discussion with Major Ravi Sir at his home when he spoke about how a soldier feels when a war takes place. Be it our soldiers, or be it theirs on the other side of the LoC, none of them are happy. They do miss their families, loved ones, friends, the luxuries of life and peace of mind. But amidst all that, they decide to fight for their country, not because they do not have a choice but because they knew from within from DAY 1 when they decided to join the armed forces, that if such a day comes when they might have to lose their lives fighting, they might shred tears but they will never run back. They will die killing, if that keeps their country and it's people safe. I was deeply moved and almost in tears when major Sir kept speaking about it. And I literally hugged him when I realized what class of a man and soldier he is. It wasn't easy to pen it down as a song keeping in mind the pain, emotions and a story telling that he wanted. But his words got forever etched in my heart and lingered in my ears for many following days.

    Happy to let you all know that Major Sir's next film 1971 Beyond Borders will have a hindi song which is beautifully composed by Najim Arshad and penned by Me [​IMG] We both are debuting with a different title in an industry where we have been for quite a while now.
