Raees easily led over Kaabil in the Oveseas markets as well. Kaabil had poor collections while Raees has done very well in Gulf and Australia. The opening is the highest ever in Gulf for a non holiday midweek release at $500,000 and Australia was huge as it beat a film like Sultan despite opening midweek. The collections in US / Canada are pending while UK opening for Raees was good for midweek release and it will go wider on Friday. The film is looking to do huge business in Gulf while in markets like UK and US the midweek release does not tell much as working days don't really collect much so it is the Friday - Sunday period which will tell. Kaabil is dull in Overseas and is unlikley to do much in Overseas markets. Below sre the opening day figures from the major Overseas markets for Kaabil and Raees. United Kingdom Raees - £125,000 Kaabil - £30,000 US / Canada Raees - pending Kaabil - pending Gulf Raees - $500,000 Kaabil - $150,000 Australia Raees - Au$180,000 Kaabil - Au$35,000

Kaabil (Hindi) flattered to deceive on day two with its huge jump as reports of the film on release were not good. The jump was a real big surprise but it shows what difference a big national holiday can make. After that huge jump the business has gone below its day one business at 7.50 crore nett which is poor and and leaves it facing a near impossible task. The film needed double digits on day three for survival but it has fell well short. The three day business of the film is around 31 crore nett which is a poor total and its even worse considering there was a huge holiday in the three days, without that the film would have had a disaster three days The first three day business of Kaabil (Hindi) is as follows.. Thursday - 8,00,00,000 Friday - 15,50,00,000 Saturday - 7,50,00,000 apprx TOTAL - 31,00,00,000 apprx Its all about some respectability for the film now as its unlikely to see that 50-60% growth on Saturday which would put it back in the reckoning. These things just don't happen after such big drops. It has now improve well over the weekend which gives it some chance for the weekdays to be high enough so it has screen count in week two to bring in some collections at least.
Kaabil is the fourth highest opening weekend of Hrithik Roshan and its big disappointment with just a little over 30 crore nett coming. The film has actually performed worse than Mohenjo Daro over the first three days because if you take out the big national holiday factor then the collections would actually be lower than Mohenjo Daro. The holiday big for Mohenjo Daro came on day four. In 2012 on a similar date Agneepath had clocked business of 45 crore nett though it was a solo release. Bang Bang, Krrish 3 and Agneepath remain the only films to take good openings in the last ten years for Hrithik Roshan and it pretty much spells it out with the genre he generates interest among the audience. The top ten opening weekends (3 Days) for Hrithik Roshan are as follows. 1. Bang Bang - 62,65,00,000 2. Krrish 3 - 49,47,00,000 3. Agneepath - 45,74,00,000 4. Kaabil - 30,50,00,000 apprx 5. Mohenjo Daro - 29,82,00,000 6. Kites - 27,52,00,000 7. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara - 27,32,00,000 8. Dhoom 3 - 17,41,00,000 9. Krrish - 17,34,00,000 10. Guzaarish - 13,78,00,000
