    Kahaani 2

Kahaani 2 doesn't have the fizz and thrills its prequel carried, this one is a pretty ordinary cinema. When Kahaani moved on a brisk pace providing fare amount of twists and turns, the sequel almost looks dull without any elements to hook your interest.Vidya Balan does her part well, she played the role of Durga Rani Singh finely.Arjun Rampal delivers a neat performance.Supporting Cast were good.

Sujoy Ghosh disappoints big time.Kahaani was doubtlessly a deft portrayal of a solid theme, but this sequel was totally unnecessary. There are few interesting moments, but the film is largely predictable and it even relies on that outdated twists. The starting and the initial proceedings were fine giving some real good hope, but halfway through,it falls to the cliched category and turns out to be a disappointing one.Altogether, this one is an average cinema at best.

    Overall,Kahaani 2 is Disappointing !

    Shivaay

"An Extraordinary Man in Extraordinary Circumstances",Built on this very usual premise,Shivaay has nothing new in store for you.Except for the action sequences and some engaging moments in between,Shivaay is an average product.Ajay Devgan does his part decently, though nothing great to mention,he delivers a neat performance.Abigail Eames is another actor who comes up with a good performance, she did a commendable job.Others were fine in their respective roles.

Ajay Devgan just couldn't make this a gripping cinema. There are some interesting moments for sure, but on the whole, this one seems to be an unsatisfactory experience. The initial hour was below par with the typical bollywood romance happening along with the songs playing in the background.Bgm is superb, the Shivaay theme music doubtlessly lifts many of the sequences a notch above. The visuals were breathtaking, but the shoddy cgi works made many of the scenes look lame.In short,if you don't expect much, this may turn out to be an average watch.

    Overall,Shivaay is Average !

    Haraamkhor

Apart from the climax portions,Haraamkhor doesn't have anything memorable to offer.Crafted like a template art house cinema, this indeed moves in a sluggish pace testing the viewers patience at regular intervals.Performances are the only saving grace of this cinema.Nawazudeen like always gets into the skin of the character and delivers a superb and subtle performance.Swetha Tripathi is another stellar performer, she is doubtlessly a talented actress.Others were fine.

Shlok Sharma just couldn't make this an engaging cinema. He indeed crafted each and every scene with utmost realism, the situations and the charters were raw and rustic, but when it comes to the central plot and narration,Haraamkhor fails miserably. When it comes to the technical apects, there the is nothing worth mentioning except for the soundtracks. On the whole, watch this one for its performances and a fairly engaging climax.

    Overall,Haraamkhor is Boring !

    Singam 3

Loud and Tedious,Singam 3 is an intolerable cinema by all means. This is definitely a masala potboiler where logic doesn't have anything to do,but the overdose of masala elements indeed makes this a boring watch. The poorly crafted comedy tracks, uninteresting romance and a bunch of crap songs formulates this to be a unbearable cinema.Surya shoulders the whole movie,if he wasn't there,it would have been a tough task to sit through this 153 minutes.Surya yet again delivers a power packed performance in his iconic role of Duraisingam, his performace is doubtlessly the only factor which uplifts many of the sequences.Others were juts okay with their performances,Soori on the other side was extremely poor with his performance, none of his comedies worked out and the scenes featuring him were the worst.

Technically,Singam 3 is a below averageproduct.Vfx is below par, even movies with limitedbudgetshows a flighttaking off in a much qualitymanner.Bgm is loud and often creates an irritatingatmosphere, but Singam 3 theme was fine in certain scenes.Harirepeats his trademarkstyle,he structured this like a typicalmasalaentertainer but failedmiserably in making this an interestingwatch.Still,Singamremains as the best among the franchise, both Singam 2 & Singam 3 is unbearable,at least for me.I really do like commercialentertainers, but this one sadlyirritates you rather than making the viewersentertained.

    Overall,Singam 3 is Below Average !
