    ആയിരം കാണിയല്ല, ‘കാര്‍ബണ്‍’; ഫഹദിനൊപ്പം മംമ്ത


    മമ്മൂട്ടി നായകനായ 'മുന്നറിയിപ്പിന്' ശേഷം വേണു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ഫഹദ് ഫാസില്‍ നായകനാവുന്നുവെന്ന് നേരത്തേ വാര്‍ത്ത വന്നിരുന്നു. 'ആയിരം കാണി' എന്ന് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം ഏത് വിധേനയും ജീവിതത്തില്‍ വിജയിക്കണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരാളുടെ കഥയാണെന്ന് വേണു സൗത്ത്‌ലൈവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ തന്റെ ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പേജിലൂടെ 'കാര്‍ബണ്‍' എന്നൊരു ചിത്രമാണ് ഫഹദിനൊപ്പം അടുത്തതായി ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് വേണു അല്‍പം മുന്‍പ് കുറിച്ചു. 'ആയിരം കാണി' തന്നെയാണോ 'കാര്‍ബണ്‍'? സംവിധായകന്‍ മറുപടി പറയുന്നു.

    ‘ആയിരം കാണി’ എന്ന് പേരിട്ടിരുന്ന പ്രോജക്ട് തന്നെയാണിത്. ‘കാര്‍ബണ്‍’ എന്ന് പേര് മാറ്റിയെന്നേ ഉള്ളൂ. ഓഗസ്റ്റിലേ ചിത്രീകരണമുള്ളൂ, മഴ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട്. കോട്ടയം, ഇടുക്കി ഭാഗത്തായിരിക്കും ചിത്രീകരണം. ഒരുപാട് ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളുമായി മുന്നോട്ടുപോകുന്ന മനുഷ്യനാണ് ഇതിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രം. പക്ഷേ ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തിലെത്തുമ്പോള്‍ അയാള്‍ക്ക് തോന്നുകയാണ് ഇതിലുമൊക്കെ എത്രയോ നല്ല ആഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ തനിക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകാമായിരുന്നു എന്ന്. ആ തിരിച്ചറിവ് വൈകുന്ന ഒരവസ്ഥയുണ്ട്. ഇതിന്റെ തീം ഒരു കഥയായി പറഞ്ഞുഫലിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ട്.
    വേണു, സൗത്ത്‌ലൈവിനോട്
    കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒന്നര വര്‍ഷത്തോളമായി ഫഹദുമായി ഡിസ്‌കഷന്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പ്രോജക്ടാണ് ഇതെന്നും ഛായാഗ്രഹണം മറ്റൊരാളാവും നിര്‍വഹിക്കുകയെന്നും വേണു പറയുന്നു.
    ചിത്രത്തില്‍ മംമ്ത മോഹന്‍ദാസാണ് ഫഹദിന്റെ നായികയായി എത്തുക. വേണുവിന്റേത് തന്നെയാണ് രചന. പൊയട്രി ഫിലിംസിന്റെ ബാനറില്‍ സിബി തോട്ടുമ്പുറവും മനു കുഞ്ഞച്ചനും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് ചിത്രം നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം പൃഥ്വിരാജും മഞ്ജു വാര്യരും കേന്ദ്രകഥാപാത്രങ്ങളാകുന്ന ഗബ്രിയേലും മാലാഖമാരും എന്ന ചിത്രവും വേണു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യും. ദയ എന്ന പെണ്‍കുട്ടി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് ശേഷം വേണുവിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തില്‍ മഞ്ജു വാര്യര്‍ നായികയാകുന്ന ചിത്രമെന്ന പ്രത്യേകതയും ഈ പ്രൊജക്ടിനുണ്ട്.
