Dulquer Salman’s much awaited movie Charlie is in
the theaters today and the
fans of the young Mega star
were all waiting for this
moment to celebrate their

hit. Dulquer had two
blockbusters in his acting
career like Usthad Hotel
and Banglore Days and
also many hit movies like
Second Show, ABCD,
Neelakasham Pachakadal
Chuvanna Bhoomi,
Vikramadithyan etc. But
Dulquer’s Charlie is

Dulquer’s ‘rough and
tough’ look is too trendy to

theaters on the releasing
day and to celebrate the
release of the Malayalam
movie Charlie. Another
main reason is his heroine
Pavathy who was his pair
in the evergreen entertainer
Banglore Days. Aparna
Gopinath who was his
heroine in the movie ABCD

Desi , is also playing an

and the director of the later
, Martin Prakkat who has
made his directorial debut

The Malayalam movie
Charlie is all about the life
of a young man Charlie
(Dulquer Salman ) who
leads a gypsy life and he is
even called as a Jin ! His
heart is full of love and
care to the other people
and he is ready to serve
any people at any time .
The movie starts with the
entry of Tessa ( Parvathy)
from Banglore to her house.
Tessa comes to Kerala
back for the marriage of
her brother ( Tovino) . The
family arranged an
exchange marriage with the
would be of her brother ,
but did not agrees with the
same .
Tessa leaves her house
and reaches a lodge and
her ambition is to study
music. Charlie was the
inhabitant of the lodge and
she finds some pictures
along with the luggage in
the room. She is disturbed
by some people who are
coming to the room in
search of their things. They
all say good about Charlie
and she is then very
anxious to know more
about him. The later part of
the movie is the journey of
her life to meet Charlie.
The pictures that Tessa had
seen in the room indicates
the story of a doctor Kani
(Aparna) and it was Charlie
who served the life of Kani.
As expected , Dulquer
made an excellent
performance in the title
role, but the star of the
show is Parvathy through
her character Tessa,
proved the importance of a
bold and talented female
artists in the Malayalam
film industry. Another
female character Kani is
also safe in the hands of
Aparna Gopinath. Chemban
Vinod , Tovino , Renji
Panikar, Kalpana , Joju
George , Soubin are the
other artists and they are
all played their small roles
in this trendy flick.
The director Martin Prakkat
leaded the brilliant
technical side and treated
the movie with ease.As
usual , this youthful flick
becomes more beautiful
through the camera of
Jomon T John and as usual
, he deserves a special
clap for his wonderful work
showing the colorful
Thrissur Pooram .Gopi
Sunder – Rafeek Ahammed
team again did a magical
performance in the music
department of the movie
and the songs are also
trendy.
The costumes of the stars
really helped for stamping
the characters in the hearts
of the audience and this
Malayalam movie is really

director shared his pen
with Unni R for the script
and Martin Prakkat is also

movie with Shebin Bakkar
