    Odiyaan seems to me a warm up phase for mr.sreekumar.. The subject doesnt demand a grand production but theme can surpass itself if they opted 3D,otherwise Odiyaan will stay here.

    1 ) If Odiyaan is based on ESP the answer is in manichitratazhu,chandramukhi, yakshi ...
    2 ) if odiyaan deals on initiation and secrecy bala has already made a remarkable naan kadavul
    3) If odiyaan stands for sacrifice , we have seen likes in wayandan tamban
    4) Odiyaan can have rituals and cermonies , sreekrishnaparuth or atharvam has their sayings.

    IF Odiyaan has all the above then yeah... its yawn for the viewer..
    anyway good luck for the film .

    1) no odiyan does not deal with esp.from where did you get that idea.....manichitrathazhu main plot itself is dissociative identity disorder...esp is just given a fleeting mention so as to describe gangas supernatural abilities when she is in nagavalli mode....and which yakshi are you talking about?? both the malayattoor one and the 2012 one dont have anything to do with esp..i really think you have esp confused with something else

    2) bro is naan kadavul really about initiation and secrecy??...the hero has an aghori background ...but the story is not about their life...the main plot evolves around the beggar mafia...even if you take the subtexts of moksha,aham brahmasmi etc you are way off the mark

    3) sacrifice may or may not feature in odiyan..most probably it wont...but ritualistic sacrifice per se is not something which defines a story...wayanadan thamban is a movie concerned with sacrifice of virgins aimed at eternal youth...you cant club all movies with a sacrifice scene and say they are related to thamban

    4) and again with the absurdity....'rituals and ceremonies' are not exactly something which you call a 'subject'...and sarifice comes under rituals and ceremonies...why did you mention it separately..?

    and if odiyan has all the above what kind of film are you imagining it to be??...sorry but i have to ask...what are you smoking??..:Lol:
