    Tats what it all about, Here the characters intention was more on mastering them and subscribing to occult power.. As a viewer,we finds them ,they are still occupying the same plane or within the reality which we are living.. Nothing is changed but the attempts are there per se..

    Well the trick the horror genre plays on an audience is that it always pretends to be in a dreamy or out of the world. The characters explore their reality or surroundings and will actualy stay there because they are only have grasp of another reality .A fantasy genre is more about a parallel world or entering another face of reality, or Characters occuping another space and time

    Once it comes to analyze them, such details speaks a volume, one cannot ignore them as they will always helps to understand the film in much depth and detail

    Why should he say that he is in a fantasy world? In which fantasy movie/story that you have seen such an utterance? Newsflash for you - spirits and incantations do not work in real world. At least accepted in the real world. Ergo, it becomes fantasy. That is the accepted definition in fiction. Whether you agree or not depends on you. I see that you are either mightly confused or high or have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about.

    Fantasy genre is very well defined by the criteria of reality. You are either delusional or too thick about the nuances that you yourself harp around.

    IF i opted yours rationale, anything which is foreign to a viewer he can call it a fantasy ..If the spirit calling is foreign then even a movie based on singer itself can be termed fantasy as most people are not singers..One cannot even make a movie contrary to the day to day reality of populace as they are alien for them.
