Date : 15/04/2017 Theater : Q Cinemas Time : 10:40am Status : 95% Sakhaavu is a well crafted political drama.A solid theme backed by Nivin's stupendous performance and Sidharth Siva's neat narration made this a good watch. The film doesn't glorify any party, but the hard-hitting dialogues and sequences indeed brings goosebumps.Nivin comes up with one of his finest performance, both the characters were safe in his hands.Nivin as Sakhaavu Krishnan was outstanding, the matured looks and the much enhanced dialogue delivery made it a flawless act.Krishnakumar was more of the usual Nivin, still his impeccable comedy timing made it a likable performance.Aiswarya Rajesh and Aparna were good playing the female leads, but the character of Gayathri was not at all needed.Althaf was good playing the comic lad alongside Nivin, his combo with Nivin worked out well.Others were fine. On the Technical Grounds,Cinematography by George C. Williams was superb. Both the present and the past periods were taken skillfully, the action scene featuring Nivin and Baiju was amazingly shot.Editing was fine even though it wasn't crisp towards the end of first half.Songs were okay whereas the Bgm was effective enough to boost many of the sequences.Among Sidharth Siva's works, this one definitely has the best commercial flavor.Still this one is not a typical entertainer,it has Sidharth Siva's signature written all over it which made this one among his finest products till date.To sum it up,Sakhaavu is not merely a political cinema,it has all the elements needed for a good entertainer. Overall,Sakhaavu is Good ! Verdict : Good ! Rating : 7.5/10 B.O Verdict : Superhit / Blockbuster
