Theater : Chalakudy D Cinemaas screen 3 Status : Houseful3 Show : Early morning fans show. Story : The first part ended with curiosity on why loyal Kattappa killed Baahubali. This was iterated again and again and almost all the country is waiting to know. As it was seen for the first time in big screen in India, the over the top fights and war sequences which is normal for Telugu audience were lapped up by even Malayalees who known to love realistic movies more. All of these have raised bar of expectations for the second part. Coming to the story, it starts off the story as if people are not patient to set off characters again. So watch first part first. How Baahubali met his love, how he approached it(was very funny and enjoyable though it would have been better if watch Telugu not dubbed to Malayalam) and how the story progresses through the deception of villian and associates were explained in massy way. The interval block was superb and hairstanding(romam ezhunettu nilkunna) which is normal for S S Rajamouli movies. Post interval explains the reason why Kattappa killed Baahubali. Though it was the only much awaited question, this would have been an easy guess those who watched first part. But the question has become a widely accepted suspense, people wanted Nolanistic approach...or don't they? Whatever the emotions were on place and effective which is the core part in enjoying the whole movie, even with very much over the top action sequences. I had seen a leaked fight scene some months before and I think some of the parts are cut. Climax was kind of typical Telugu movie climax and it is a Telugu movie, accepted worldwide.:lol. Graphics were not up to the mark which the trailor had indicated. Kicha Sudeep was expected in a small role, but wasn't there. On the whole film looks a little bit rushed, may be it was racy to make me feel so. Also post interval was not up to pre interval part. Performances : Prabhas : He was apt for both Baahubali and Siva. He can act among Telugu heroes. National or international hero after these 2 movies. Anushka : The mighty role of heroine handled with ease. Shape changing factor is notable, may be because of other movies in between unlike Prabhas. Rana : Though people know he will fail in final fight, he has given competition to Prabhas, only in fight not in acting. He looked menacing as required. Sathyaraj : The person who became as famous as Baahubali, was good in comic timing too. Ramya Krishnan : Another mighty female character, enacted well. Tamannah : Not much in this part. Subbaraju : Another comic relief who turned heroic on Baahubali's speech. Good role. Nasser : Was alive in end too, why? who knows? Rest all were good in their roles. Verdict : Should be a blockbuster. All may watch atleast once in theater, thanks to the wide acceptance of first part.
