Anirudh gives a tough time for Ajith

Music director Anirudh who has given super hit tunes and Theri BGM for 'Vedalam' is continuing his association with Ajith and Siva for the second time in 'Vivegam'. Recently he worked on the Theme song for the film and the process has been a memorable one.

Sources reveal that Ajith was personally involved in the process of finalizing the theme song. Anirudh apparently gave as many as 50 tunes for the theme number and made Ajith to listen all of them. The star had a tough time selecting the tune as he liked most of the tunes given by the young and energetic music director.

Finally Ajith has zeroed in the tune for 'Vivegam' Theme song and that is ready now. The makers aver that this song will be as big a hit as 'Aaluma Doluma' of 'Vedalam;and it is going to create new records.

'Vivegam' is being directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.

With fans eagerly awaiting the release of Vivegam, CE has come upon some interesting information about the film’s music.

A source indicates that Anirudh apparently composed around 50 tunes, and made Ajith listen to all of them before they finally zeroed in on the theme song. The source also reveals that the star was impressed by most of the tunes, and had a tough time picking one.

The song picked by Ajith is expected by those associated with the film to beat the records set by Vedalam’s ‘Aaluma Doluma’ which was also composed by Anirudh.

Touted to be along the lines of a James Bond film, Vivegam is expected to hit the screens by the second week of August. The film is directed by Siruthai Siva, who has previously worked with Ajith in Veeram and Vedalam. Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan play the female leads.
