Angamaly Diaries!!!!!! Fucking awesome!!! After a long wait, finally got to watch Lijo Jose Palliserry's Angamaly Diaries. How do I put it, mainstream Bollywood will bow down and lick Malayalam cinema's feet with such films. I loved City of God, didnt like Amen and DB. But hands down this is Lijo's best work. The fact that every single actor in the movie is a new comer is unbelievable. Huge respect to Vijay Babu for producing such a movie. It takes a lot of guts to do that. The single shot Climax of 12 minutes, what more do I say, one of a kind in Indian cinema. Every single actor performed top notch. The music...Angamaly Pranchi and Prashanth Pillai take the movie to a different level. Anurag Kashyap was not wrong when he said this is the best watch of the year so far.

Take off!!! ONE WORD: LEGENDARY!! PARVATHY TO SUPERSTAR PARVATHY!!! Finally watched Take-Off. Yesterday I watched Angamaly Diaries and was pretty sure that it was the best movie of the year. But after watching Take off, I think this one stands right up there with Angamaly Diaries and maybe even above, When the movie ended, I had the exact emotions and maybe more when I finished Argo. And Argo received an Oscar. So that itself is enough to show the standard and quality of the movie. Parvathy Menon is a superstar. Yes, she is. Im pretty sure that if the movie was a Hollywood movie, Parvathy would have been a serious contender for the Academy Awards. KuBo, hats off to you for the way you support good movies. His acting was perfect and more than that, his presence in the whole movie made Take off what it is. Fahad Fazil, what do I say about a man who can pull off a small town still photographer who swears not to wear footwear till he beats up the person who hit him and a RAW officer who rescues Indians from Iraq, with so much ease, with just a beard to change his getup. Its all in the eyes, the hand movements, the body language, the style of walking. In 10-15 years, Fahad Fazil will reach among the top list of all time greatest actors of the country. The making was perfect to the last inch. The sets, the props and the makeup was too good. Mahesh Narayanan, ningal oru puli aanu. Verum puli alla....oru Simham. Make more movies and make Malayalam cinema the greatest. This shot gave me goosebumps, one of the best Ive seen.
