Date : 07/07/2017 Theater : Q Cinemas Time : 9:50am Status : 60% The Pan Indian Nature,A premise with lot of novelty,The narrative which spreads over a vast landscape : Tiyaan in all means is a divergent experience, nonetheless there was a large scope for improvement which could have made this more superior. The film without doubt is a profound effort, still it gives the feel of a half-baked stuff at times.Prithviraj is the man with the midas touch, being his ardent admirer,it gives me immense pleasure that he is trying out something innovative every time (whether it be success of failure).Coming to his performance, the character of Aslan Muhammad was safe in his hands, moreover there were few goosebumps sequences to cater his fans like me.Indrajith once again proves that he is a bundle of talent,Pattabhi Raman can be added to his finest performances.Murali Gopi was good, while the rest of the cast were fine. When it comes to the superior technical aspects,Tiyaan is a spectacle. The extravagant visuals featuring some fresh locales and unusual terrains indeed did a great job in making the movie a watchable flick. The songs were not much impressive, whereas the background scores were quite good. The film has a strong socio-political undertone and some fabulously penned dialogues (both hard-hitting and relevant),and it makes this a quality cinema, however the overdone content will not go well the common audience who seek simple and entertaining movies.Jiyen Krsihnakumar did a fine job being the director, still a little more effort could have made wonders. To sum it up,Tiyaan is a fresh piece of work, but the amount of satisfaction derived from this entirely depends on each viewer. Overall,Tiyaan is Above Average ! 6/10 It takes to have a straight spine to commit projects like this, and Prithvi has that Proud to be his fan
