    I think it's easier to prove personal vengeance as motive than land deals..
    The evidence for former could be:

    - ex wife's statement that victim who is her friend was aware or family issues and ex husband was angry with them both..
    - proof from producers actors or directors that the accused has requested them to remove the victim from their films
    - supplementary evidence to show the accused tendency to take vengeance when people go against him
