    SRK became a star in 90s because the audience needed a respite from the macho men who were ruling bollywood. SRK was a cute romantic guy and the audience loved him. Now, it seems he has lost his groove. Salman was like this from mid to late 2000's. He had no idea what kind of movies to do. Suddenly wanted happened...then Dabang and the rest is history.
    SRK can never be macho like Salman or do a Dangal or 3 Idiots or PK like Aamir. SRK can romance...and the audience are done with it.
