    Disappointing start for SPYder keeping in mind it had the biggest release after Baahubali 2 . Reviews from early premiere shows had its effect

    SPYder is AR Murugadoss's weakest film till date. Mahesh is good, SJ Suryah is excellent, but supporting characters were very poorly written. ARM's regular weak stuff like hero's romance with loosu ponnu heroine and bad song placements have become speed breakers once again.
    What saves the film from being unbearable is the pre-interval, interval and certain scenes in trademark ARM style have come out well.
    Despite taking frequent cinematic liberties to replace logic with intelligent mass scenes, ARM couldn't strike the emotional chord with audience as good as he used to. The climax VFX & fight choreography could have been much much better considering the 120 crores budget. Climax was also very rushed and Murugadoss shoves a message down our throat in an artificial manner .
    Average Thriller overall,
    Watchable once for the positives I mentioned. That's it .
