Mohanlal’s Ithikkara Pakki will be a revelation: Rosshan Andrrews

Director Rosshan Andrrews' Kayamkulam Kochunnikeeps getting bigger! The movie, which has Nivin Paulyplaying the titular role of the legendary highwayman, has now got its biggest addition - Mohanlal as the folk hero Ithikkara Pakki.
The movie, scripted by Bobby and Sanjay, will hence be the first time that the two superstars will be sharing screen space.While it was rumoured that Mohanlal's role is a cameo, Rosshan dismisses those reports, saying, "He will be playing the role of Ithikkara Pakki, whose importance cannot be understated when we are narrating the story of Kayamkulam Kochunni. Pakki was the first legendary Robin Hood of Kerala and he and Kochunni were contemporaries, so Lalettan has a major role in the movie."On the actor's getup for the film, Rosshan though doesn't divulge much. "It will be a surprise, a revelation for sure. The role has immense scope for Lalettan to perform."Mohanlal is expected to join the sets by the end of January or early February. "He will be part of the schedules in Mangalore, Goa and Sri Lanka," says the filmmaker. The big budget film also has Priya Anand, Sunny Wayne, Priyanka Thimmesh and Babu Antony in pivotal roles. The team has already finished 70 days of shoot and have another 60 days left. "It's a big movie as we are trying to get every details of the period perfect," concludes the filmmaker.
