Maheshinte Prathikaram and Action Hero Biju By rewatching and rewatching, these 2 movies have become two of my all time favourite movies in any language. Literally path breaking movies in their own sense in my opinion. Abrid Shine and Dileesh Potten brilliance. Abrid destroyed conventional movie script sense by inducing multiple characters with no backstory and no trail story, and by just making the audience feel for each character in multiple 15-20 minute sequences, a masterstroke. On the other hand, Potten created a whole new level of detailing sense and Shyju Khalid's helped immensely with a literally stunning colour tone and cinematography. The thing about Shyju's work in Mahesh is that it does not make the audien make "WOW" by using colours and drone shots, no, instead it carries the audience right in the midst of the characters and make them feel a strange comfort while watching the movie ( old Satyan Anthikad movies have the same thing). Landmark movies in malayalam cinema. Feel a certain kind of pucham for Telugu and Bollywood cinema in particular while watching these movies.

Aviduthepole Ivideyum. (1985) Lalettan thudangiya kaalaghattam, before he was a superstar. Mammukka already established aaya kaalam. A nice light hearted family movie with some drama. Mammukka and lalettan malsarich abhinayichu, personally mammukka aanu ithil kidukkiyath imo. 33 varsham munbulla oru cinema...pakshe innum kaanumbol nalla entertainment aanu.
