    Mohanlal starrer Odiyan is one of the most anticipated Malayalam projects of the year. Directed by popular ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar, the movie is touted to be fantasy drama featuring Mohanlal in the role of Odiyan Manikyan, the last survivor of the Odiyan clan which is known for black magic and other extraordinary abilities. The movie is gearing up to open in theatres in October and as per the latest report by a leading English daily, the makers of the movie have blocked October 18 as the release date. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be out soon. Meanwhile, the team is set to kick-start the final schedule of the movie next month at Palakkad.
