Argentina would have to beat the most talented stacked France side in over a decade, they’re a joke tactically but individual plays would be enough to dispatch Messi and company easily.

Spain ruthlessly back to their best. Lopetegui has patched things up and they currently have the highest tactical level among all countries in the world, it’s stunning. This 6:1 result is kind to Argentina.

Germany the biggest favorites because of experience, incredible talented in all aspects, tactically astute and many of their players have already won the tournament.

Player by player, Brazil doesn’t come anywhere close to Spain or Germany, but they have the best coach in the tournament, that rescued the national team from oblivion. Tite is why they’re favorites: Solid, experienced and convincing.

How can anyone see Argentina contending for the trophy? Messi is a single player, he’s human no matter how he doesn’t appear to be in most matches. 2014 was already an anomaly, but it didn’t have anything close to the current best national teams.
