    Mammootty to play a travel buff in his next with Deen Dennis

    Megastar Mammootty is all set to wear the travel Suit in his next movie written and directed by debutant Deen Dennis, son of veteran writer Kaloor Dennis. The movie tells the story of Vinod Menon, a young avid traveller who starts his journey from Kochi, and some mysterious incidents witnessed by him. A popular actor from Kollywood play an important role in the film. The movie is said to be a gaming thriller, a genre which hasn’t been explored much in Mollywood so far. The movie is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies. The movie will start rolling by December 2018 and will be shot at various locations in Kochi and Bangalore.

    “I spent around two years on this. I narrated the story to Mammukka last year. He liked it. Since it is a complicated thread, he suggested taking some time to work on this,”
    This genre hasn’t been touched upon yet in Malayalam cinema and will be a new experience for audience altogether. “That is one reason why I took up this subject. First, I decided to shoot it as a short movie. But I changed my mind once I developed the subject. I talked to Mammukka. He listened to the story scene order and liked it. I was not planning to direct the movie, but he suggested me directing it. So, I decided to give it a shot.     Speaking about working with Mammootty, Deen says that he is a bit nervous yet confident that he will be able to pull off. “It is a challenge. I am ready to face it and I’m confident about the subject,” - Deen
