It's based on a true story . The story tells a young boy who got lost away from his family & home in India .. He survived by living on the street & In Orphange , After that he got adopted from an Australian family and 25 years later finding his way back home ..
The performance of the kid in this movie was amazing. All other actors did their part well ..

Overall Lion is an excellent and Emotional film ..

Seven Pounds

Inspiring and emotionally rewarding,Seven Pounds is the kind of film which will be liked by all irrespective of its shortcomings.Will Smith's yet another magnificent performance is indeed the best thing about this cinema,and director Gabriele Muccino has neatly exploited Smith's prowess in performing emotional sequences.Seven Pounds may not be a great piece of work,nevertheless it has its heart at the right place which in turn makes this an absorbing experience.

A Quiet Place

While a notable share of the so called horror thrillers are nothing more than trifling jump-scares, A Quite Place with its novel premise and absolutely gripping narrative turns out be a befitting cinema in the horror genre.The basic concept is simple,the use of sound is very minimal,and there are no visual gimmicks,however the brilliant execution and great performances excels it to soaring heights.Literally,A Quiet Place is the most intense and compelling thriller in recent times.

The Commuter

Watch it for Liam Neeson.. his performance took the movie to a watchable level. He delivers a gripping and powerful perfo as the commuter ..
Instead of flight this time Liam Neeson travels in train and solve the crime related problems .. I did not find anything intriguing In Second half but still not boring only bcoz of the neeson's screen presence. Bgm is the main highlight of the movie..

Rating: 6/10 One Time Watchable ..

 

To Steal From A Thief..

Daniel Calparsoro's To steal from a thief is a thriller film about bank heist. A group of thieves robbing a bank in Valencia and Thudarnnulla Sambavangal Oke Aan Padam .. It could've been more better if minutes things were taken careoff !

Rating 6.5/10 One Time Watchable ..

((എഴുത്തിൽ ഒരു തുടക്കകാരന്റെ പോരായ്മകൾ ഉണ്ടാകാം))

കുറച്ച് നാളുകളായി ഈ സിനിമയെപറ്റി കേൾക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട്, എങ്കിലും അത് കാണാൻ സാധിച്ചത് ഇന്നാണ്. Shinobu Hashimotoയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ തിരക്കഥയെഴുതി Akira Kurosawa സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഈ ജാപ്പനീസ് ചിത്രം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത് 1950ലാണ്. ഒരേ സംഭവം(ഒരു കുറ്റകൃത്യം) സാക്ഷ്യംവഹിച്ച ഏതാനും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ അവർക്കനുയോജ്യമായ രീതിയിൽ ആ സംഭവത്തെ വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ് (ഒരു flashback പോലെ) ഈ സിനിമയുടെ ഇതിവൃത്തം. ഏതു കഥാപാത്രത്തെയാണ് വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടത് എന്ന ചുമതല പൂർണ്ണമായും പ്രേക്ഷകരിലേക്ക് വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കുകയാണ് സംവിധായകൻ കുറോസോവ.
സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ സംശയത്തിന്റെ മുൾമുനയിലാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്‌ നിർത്തിയത്. ഏതു കഥാപാത്രത്തെ വിശ്വസിക്കണമെന്ന്‌ ഞാൻ സംശയിച്ച്‌നിന്നു. രസകരമായ വസ്തുത എന്തെന്നാൽ സംവിധായകൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ 3 സഹസംവിധായകരോട് ഈ കഥ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ 3 പേരും ഇതേ സംശയത്തോടുകുടി നിന്നു. പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം,1981ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ Something Like An Autobiography എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിൽ ഈ കഥ വിശദീകരിച്ചെങ്കിലും സഹസംവിധായകരിൽ ഒരാൾക്ക് അപ്പോഴും ആ സംശയം മായാതെനിന്നു.
