Return of Megastar Mammootty in A police role, debut movie of one of the most expierenced assossiate director Shaji Padoor in mollywood, reunion of team "The Great Father", stunning posters, teaser and trailer, Abrahaminte Santhathikal was not just another movie to be released in Mollywood but a much awaited one of the year. What more to say, Abrahaminte Santhikal was successful in standing over all those expectation it has to face. The movie deals with the sibling rivalry between Derick Abraham(Mammootty) and his younger Philip Abraham(Anson Paul). Derick Abraham is a straight forward police officer as a straight forward human being in life. And for the very reason he got enemies within the police force and in his personal life. The story deals with more than one investigations and each one endup creating new enemies to his list and the most important one was his own beloved younger brother Philip Abraham. While serving the jail sentence, Siddique one of Derick's enemey did everything he can to turn Philip against his brother and created chances to escape from the jail to kill his own brother. The movie starts slowly with more than one hour of build up. The introduction to every charcater was really good and the buildup for the story is great. In total with a predictable but good interval punch movie had a descent first half. Second half is the soul of the movie. With pacy script and making movie attains a rocket speed in second half. Movie ends up with an excellent climax with a very good second half. Talking about the technical side. The debut directional venture of Shaji Padoor is a succcessful one. There are some loop holes in the script which Shaji made it unnoticable through his seasoned direction. Mammooty is an excellent actor as well as big star. I don't think there is no one in the industry has utilised both this quality of Megastar iin recent times other than Haneef Adheni. Yes, there were some loop holes in the script, but not to makes stand from the seats. Background Music is one of the most important part of the movie. Gopi had a great role in injecting the emotion inside every viewer. Alby's camera and Manesh Narayan's editing were Iceing to the cake. Talking about the performance of the stars Mammootty as usual steal the show. Kaniha, Siddique, ShajonTarushi, Yog Japee, Renji Panikar, Suresh Krishna, Sudev Nair did justice to their roles. There is a rise of star in the Movie. That's Anson Paul. THis will be break through for his film career and hope he will be a next big thing in mollywood. Apart from some mistakes in script and lag in the first half Abrahaminte Santhathikal is very good movie and without a doubt will be another golden feather in the hat of the great megastar.
