Cache (French) Dark, rooted, and unsettling, Cache is a clever cinema which requires one to engage the brain, nonetheless, the unrushed narrative is a bit exhausting.The idea of an antagonist who is able to actively demolish another person's life from the shadows is quite daunting, but the film as a whole is not intriguing.There is a large amount of ambiguity surrounding this cinema, and it even demands repeat viewings to comprehend what really is happening on screen.Cache is a puzzling experience with prolonged static shots, and it's up to the viewers to unravel the mystery.
Cold Eyes (2013) An elite team of surveillance experts in the Korean Police are investigating a bank robbery. The robbers are lead by a brilliant and violent criminal mastermind. This movie is very crisp fast paced and exciting. There is no slacking of pace or any dull moments. My Rating:7/10
The Invisible Guest (Spanish) If you are not an avid spectator of the thriller genre, or have not seen the previous works of director Oriol Paulo, then the film could be absolutely startling to you.The Invisible Guest has its share of similarities with Orio Paulo's 'The Body', still, it accomplish almost all the essential characteristics in any checklist of a quintessential thriller cinema.To sum it up, The Invisible Guest is comprised of some plot holes, but, at any rate, it's a laudable thriller.

Hereditary If your idea of horror is a regular paranormal slasher, then you won't probably enjoy this.Hereditary is a slowburner, and the emphasis on atmosphere over jump scares makes it all the more petrifying.Director Ari Aster experiments on your readiness to be overwhelmed by its sinister textures, and he doesn't spoon-feed you with all the tropes the horror genre.Hereditary is not a film for the timid or those vulnerable to nightmares, because the unnerving aura it creates will linger with you long after the credits. In short, Hereditary breathes fresh life into a fading genre.
Ocean's 8 Ocean's 8 nourishes pretty much of the things that the franchise is best known for, nonetheless, it's a lethargic heist with undercooked characters.The whole premise is quite bland, devoid of any real liveliness other than the palatial costumes.A more demanding heist and a formidable nemesis would have added some much needed zest. The Ocean's franchise deserve better !
