    Recently I had a chat with DOLBY INDIA facebook page asking regarding the coming of DOLBY VISION in India. In between talks, I mentioned them about the unprofessional works in our theatres

    Cinemas using Dolby system, be it DOLBY 7.1 or DOLBY ATMOS, we are paying them for good audio. Even certain theatres increased ticket rates too by mentioning installation of these sound systems

    Recently Premam and now Maheshinte Prathikaram, both using sync sound, many people mentioned about audio problem in forums and facebook. In some other screens, it resulted in loudness too

    So please see this problem is there in a DOLBY installed theatre you watch movies, if so, please comment the theatre & movie name here

    This is something DOLBY replied during chat
    "Hi. Sorry to hear about this. We are sure that all theatres running Dolby Atmos have been thoroughly examined for sound issues and visibility issues on the screen near the roof. There should be no harm playing non-Dolby Atmos titles on these screens as the hardware / software is backward compatible and will easily handle non-Dolby Atmos soundtracks without any issues. The loudness you experience is one of the strengths of Dolby Atmos with wider sound stage and deeper bass. If you are sure about overlapping dialogues and visibility issues near the roof, please provide us with the name of the film you watched and the name of the Screen / Cinema you experienced these issues. We will surely forward this matter to our team."
