Jersey Meaningful and uplifting, Jersey is an emotional tour de force. If done right, sports dramas can be both poignant and exhilarating and there can't be a better example than Jersey, which is truly a gratifying tale of triumph and self-discovery. Nani has the right quality for the protagonist, he is an easy man to root for, but he augments this by channeling some inner quality of desperation and need. As Arjun, the actor delivers a sublime performance that will be talked about for a long time. Shraddha brings in a lot of authenticity to her character. Ronit, who played Nani's son, is a remarkable casting choice, and the young boy takes you by surprise. Jersey is not yet another sports drama about accomplishing dreams, it has more profundity and lesser idealism than the run-of-the-mill stories. We've seen a gamut of sports films, both biopics and fictional dramas, and a sense of deja vu silthers in as you witness certain tropes being peddled till you tire of them, but Jersey is different and it works like magic. In a nutshell, Jersey is an endearing sports drama that will leave you with a heavy heart and loads of tears. Loved it ❤️
