The Umbrella Academy Absolutely original and remarkably divergent, The Umbrella Academy is yet another spellbinding triumph for Netflix. Loved it ❤
Bodyguard Right from the word go, BBC's Bodyguard is an incredibly gripping experience. Awaiting Season 2 ❤
The Good Place Hilarious, Authentic and Intriguing, The Good Place is a totally binge-worthy sitcom ❤
Delhi Crime Based on the true-life investigation about a remorseless gang rape that outraged the entire nation, Delhi Crime is taut, gripping and absolutely unsparing. It's yet another triumph for Netflix ❤️
Finished watching the first episode of Leila, the Netflix series. Harrowing and unnerving. The setup for the show is abrupt and amateurish. Things do start to take a better turn and she captures the emotional turmoil of the characters really well. Towards the end, the narrative falters again but the proceedings before that give you an afterglow that almost covers it. It looks like Meera Nair has not transitioned over that well into the longer format. Rest of the episodes will determine if the series ends up as something truly good or a vapid portrayal of the extreme right-wing. I do not find it binge-worthy mainly because of the inconsistent pace, even though I absolutely adore dystopian fiction. I will be watching it one episode at a time. If you are interested in dystopian fiction set in India, check out River of Gods by Ian McDonald. A bunch of idiotic right-wingers would be getting hissy-fits and a bunch of woke liberals would be having a circlejerk over the series given the sensitive content. They will ensure that the discussions become a flame war of whataboutery and tu qoque.
Finished watching it already, One of the best TV series I have seen recently. I'd say Steve-Dustin combo steal the show nd I also liked the performance of new addition to the serious Robin ❤️ she is such a talented if you have watched season 1 and season 2, you will definitely love this. Rating : 9/10 Waiting for Next season
