Review Kali Review - Dq amazes once again !

Kali is a thoroughly engaging cinema with all the ingredients needed for a commercial entertainer.Kali is a complete Dq film - It is his amazing perfomance & screen presence which makes the proceedings enjoyable,He delivers another stellar perfomance ,As the shot tempered Sidharth,Dq was a treat to watch .Coming to his mass appeal,Its beyond words to explain,Introkku okke kolakoli response ,Collegile fight sequence & climax scene ,Last caril ninnu irangi varunna scene- Goosebumps ,Without any second thoughts,Dq is the best among youngsters .Sai Pallavi did her part well,there is a certain charm in her which makes her perfomance a bit more lovely,dubbing was not upto the mark,she struggled with her mallu accent.Among the supporting cast,Vinayakan & Chemban were superb,they brought that raw feel to their characters.

1st half was simple & enjoyable,it was more of a family drama,Dq-Sai chemistry was amazing.There was light humour,action,romance which made things interesting.Soubin was good & provided some laughs,Pulliye adikkuna scene .Interval block was superb & gave the hint for a thrilling 2nd half.2nd half was good,it was more of a thriller,NH 10 type aayirunnu 2nd half.Dq with his action scenes were the best thing about the later half.Action choreography was excellent,it was both realistic & stylish.Climax scene ,Kidu aanu,Theater was filled with claps & whistles ,Perfect ending .

Technically,Dop was superb,especially the shots during the action were top notch,Car chase was also taken brilliantly.Editing was good,1st half alpam trim cheyyamayirunnu,2nd half was racy.Music was not good,2 songs were not good,Gopi trademark tune thanne aayirunnu,But Bgm ,Dq's Bgm kidu aanu.Story & screenplay was good,Oru cheriya plot nalla engaging aayi eduthitund.Direction was good,Like Sameer's previous films,It is his making which made this movie an engaging one.

Overall,Kali is a Thoroughly Engaging Cinema !
