Review Shylock Review

Director Ajay Vasudev makes it big this time in his third attempt with Megastar Mammooty. 'Shylock' is a packed crowd pleaser that is a satisfying revenge drama with an impressive direction and an engaging script. It is an in and out Mammooty show all the way. Despite turning 68, The actor unleashes an acting rampage throughout the movie with his impeccable energy and charisma. The first half of the movie is owned by Mammooty who plays a role of a ruthless moneylender, There's a bit of Rajyamanikyam level in his acting which has a dark shade and actor carries out his role with perfection and is impressively compelling.
Solid star cast of Rajkiran, Meena, kalabavan Shajon and Sidhique are added attraction to the movie.The script of the movie is so old but engagingly good and the way they have added various movie dialogue references in to this movie is so charming! Kudos to the Debutants Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Mohammed. They really gave a strong platform for the director to overcome his own demons Because of his previous movies. Technically Gopi Sundars BG music spoiled the atmosphere and the stunts done by Anil Arassu were okay!

Shylock is a fruitful mix of Action, Powerpacked Performance, comedy, Mass and a family Entertainer. Unlike Rajadhiraja or Masterpiece there are no unbelievable stunt scenes and Megastar steals the show with his effortless acting! For the fans out there, You cannot ask for something better. A Complete Package For Mass Movie Lovers
