I know its a straightforward thriller... engilum just one thought.. what if the movie ended on a rather depressing note - the moment where Prthvi realizes where his brother is kept, he and Sreejith Ravi drives off to that place, pakshe idakku he sees apparition of his brother on a cross and then apparently swerves the vehicle into a rather dangerous fall...

ithil ninnu karakayarunnath kaanikunilla - next cut is them on the road - and they conveniently flag off another vehicle and drive to the destination. Ithinte avashyakatha enthaanu? I can understand a swerve and then vehicle coming to a stop, but it clearly shows the vehicle slipping into rather a big fall, with the guys still in it...

Appo my alternative take is,

Prthvi and Sreejith Ravi actually falls to their death along with that vehicle. Maranathinu munpulla chila nimishangalile "wish fulfilling" aanu pinneedu nammal kanda rangangal ellam - they are actually playing inside a dying Sam Alex's mind... orupakshe villain yadarthathil aniyane konnu kettithookiyittundavam... but a dying Sam Alex wants catharsis and hence the whole remaining climax. Sam successfully chasing the villain only to be back in an almost exact situation as he was during his wife and child's abduction. He had failed there, but this time his subconscious sort of thinks up a situation where he wins. Thereby giving his mind some sort of solace. That also explains his "Deadly-accurate" aim despite his hands still trembling (again visible in the climax)... poor Sam Alex actually never wins in the movie, and is actually tied to his "memories" till his death - which the title symbolizes.
