Theater: EKM Kavitha Show Time: 8 AM Status: Jam packed with most lively fans i've ever been with (HF with Double returns) Today, I was privileged to witness the much hyped Cinema Malayalam Cine industry ever produced - THE PULIMURUGAN. Mohanlal had a history of coming up with screaming announcements; elevating fan's expectation to cloud nine and then observe the latter nosediving at the box-office. Pulimurugan to the contrary shattered all pre-existing notion, and will satisfy the viewers cent percent (taking all the buzz into consideration) Pulimurugan is a visual treat, and is something to be experienced from the theater itself. Murugan is an ordinary man, a lorry driver who works in forest to meet both ends. The crux of the plot is MAN vs ANIMAL, how he turns out to be PULIMURUGAN , fight the wild tiger (physically and emotionally) and his intentions. My euphoric status doesn't permit me to elaborate much on story/details. I can assure you one thing, Pulimurugan is massed with many High Voltage Fights (never seen before), breathtaking sceneries, and some very effective emotional content which syncs up perfectly with a commoner. Many will find the First half of the movie average but it was a right mix of comedy, sentiments and action catering to all section of audience. But the second half will glue you to the seat with all it's thrill and excitement. It was a bit lagging initially but then it took off from there especially last 20 minutes leading to climax. Speaking about the cast, Jagathpaty babu and siddique did their part with fine perfection, but It was truly a ONE-MAN-SHOW as the emperor of box-office (Lalettan) stole all the thunder. Words cannot describe the energy, dedication and the passion in which he approached this character. Technically, the film ranks among the best. Especially, the camera work and editing is outstanding and plays a important part to its success. So, why the wait..run to your nearest theater...grab the popcorn and be ready to witness the ultimate spectacle in Malluwood.
