Power Star Pawan Kalyan has formally joined the shooting of his latest film ‘Katamrayudu’, which will be directed by Dolly. The film will show Pawan Kalyan in a very new way and for this movie, the star actor is reportedly going in for a pure cotton wardrobe.



Rustic fabrics and colours will be the theme for Pawan’s wardrobe, according to sources. The movie is expected to be shot at a fast pace and Pawan Kalyan has agreed to work doubly fast, to ensure that the film is completed on time. Sharrath Maraar is producing the film.

Katamrayudu is expected to be a powerful socio political drama with lots of trademark commercial elements.

 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu will have its second schedule kick-started in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu from the 5th of this month. Gopala Gopala director Dolly is helming this project.

According to the latest reports, Vasu Varma, the director of Naga Chaitanya’s debut film Josh and Sunil’s Krishnashtami, is helping Dolly with his creative expertise in Katamarayudu’s script development and on-location logistics.

Vasu Varma was apparently involved in the making of several big budget movies in the past.

 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing project under Dolly’s direction, Katamarayudu, will soon head to the holy South Indian city of Rameswaram. The film’s next schedule will kick-start on the 5th of October in this picturesque city.

Katamarayudu is said to be an official remake of the super hit Tamil film, Veeram, which originally starred Thala Ajith. Pawan’s close associate Sharrat Marar is producing this high budget action entertainer which has a Rayalaseema background.

Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead and Anup Rubens is composing the music.

 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu has kick-started its regular shooting last month and Pawan joined the sets recently. This film is a remake of the hit Tamil movie, Thala Ajith’s Veeram.



In the film, Pawan will have four younger brothers. A couple of days ago, there were several reports that Pelli Choopulu hero Vijay Devarakonda and Kamal Kamaraju were roped in to play Pawan’s brothers in the film.

While there’s no clarity on Vijay’s participation in the movie yet, the latest reports reveal that popular actors Ajay and Siva Balaji have been signed on to play Katamarayudu’s brothers. Shruti Haasan will be romancing Pawan in this move.

Kishore Pardasany is the director of this movie and Sharrat Marar is producing it.

 

Fresh off the success of her latest release, Premam, svelte beauty Shruti Haasan today joined the shooting of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing action entertainer, Katamarayudu. The film’s second schedule kick-started in Hyderabad today.



This is the second time that Shruti has been paired up with Pawan Kalyan and the duo had earlier given a blockbuster in the form of Gabbar Singh. Katamarayudu is being directed by Kishore Padhasani (Dolly) and produced by Sharrath Marar.

Anup Rubens is the music composer for this movie, which is a remake of Thala Ajith’s Veeram.

 

It is a known fact that the shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s next is on in full swing. The latest update reveals that Pawan Kalyan is going full on with his role. Unit sources reveal that Pawan is brisking away with all his scenes.



Shruthi Haasan has also joined the shoot recently and is quite excited shooting with the Power star for the second time. Directed by Dolly, Katamarayudu is produced by Sharat Marar.
