Date : 01/03/2017 Theater : Q Cinemas Time : 12:40pm Status : 50% Georgettan's Pooram is a simple yet entertaining cinema which can be prescribed for a fine one time watch.The film has nothing extraordinary nor anything new in store for you,but it has got its moments for sure.The performances,some nicely worked out comedies and an engaging narration makes this a watchable cinema.Dileep was at his charming best,appearing in one his finest looks till date,he delivers exactly what the audience expected from him.There were some minor hiccups in his dialogue delivery,still he comes up with a neat performance.Vinay Fort and Sharafudheen were superb playing the sidekicks to Dileep,their fantastic comic timing along with Dileep worked out big time.Rejisha was wasted in an underwritten role,she has nothing much to do and had very few lines to render.Chemban Vinod,Renji Panicker,T.G Ravi and others were fine in their respective roles. Technically,Georgettan's Pooram is good with rich production values.The frames were colorful and climax kabbadi sequences were superbly taken.Editing could have been better in both halves,there were some really unwanted scenes which evoked lags.Music is fine,both the songs were good with the visuals.Bgm is good.Biju Arukutti as the director did an impressive job.The basic plot was a wafer thin stuff which had very less entertainment value,but he mixed up all the entertainment factors in the right ratio which made this a fine movie.Altogether,Don't expect a laugh riot,this one has its share of comedies and is definitely better than Dileep's last outing - A decent cinema by all means. Overall,Georgettan's Pooram is Watchable ! Verdict : Watchable ! Rating : 6/10 B.O Verdict : Hit / Superhit
