It has been an incredible journey of one year since we started working towards our big dream ‘Odiyan’; a year of learning the new and unlearning the old, a year of transformations all of us experienced through out the making, a year that witnessed everything to be said being born, sprouting and taking shape of our dream project. I have always believed that great teamwork is the only way we create the breakthroughs that define our careers. I was blessed in abundance with an amazing team which became family for me. From the production boys to all the big names in cinema, both on and off the screen , we all spent days and nights relentlessly, working towards our common goal. A special mention to the gem of a producer we have , Shri Antony Perumbavoor, who ensured Odiyan’s journey to reality was always a smooth ride. True that our willingness to wait indeed reveals the value we place on what we are waiting for ! Today, we have an answer for all those numerous messages, questions, wishes, love and encouragement, which came our way consistently in the last one year. It’s indeed overwhelming and humbling for me to say that yes, ‘Odiyan’ is coming to you all very soon! Odiyan Manikyan will cast his irresistible charm and magical spell on everyone from October 11th, 7am 9 minutes onwards! From us to you all! Thank you!

കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം ജൂലൈ 2 ന് ഒടിയന്റെ ആദ്യ പോസ്റ്റർ ഇറങ്ങിയതും, ജൂലൈ 5ന് പൂജ കഴിഞ്ഞതും മുതൽ തുടങ്ങിയ കാത്തിരുപ്പുകളാണ്. അന്ന് മുതൽ ഒടിയനെ എന്ന് ബിഗ് സ്‌ക്രീനിൽ കാണാനാവും എന്ന ഒട്ടേറെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്കും സംശയങ്ങൾക്കുമുള്ള അവസാനമാണ് ഒക്ടോബർ 11. ഒരു കുടുംബമായിരുന്ന് ആന്റണിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ ബോയ് വരെയുള്ള ഞങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തരും ഒരുവർഷത്തോളം കണ്ടസ്വപ്നങ്ങളുടെ ദിവസം കൂടിയാണത്. എനിക്ക് പോലും നിശ്ചയമില്ലാതിരുന്ന ആ കാത്തിരിപ്പിന് ഇനി മൂന്ന് മാസങ്ങൾ മാത്രം. നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തരും നൽകിയ പ്രചോദനവും ധൈര്യവും തന്നെയാണ് എന്നെ ഈ ദിവസം വരെ എത്തിച്ചത്. ഒക്ടോബർ 11ന് രാവിലെ 7 മണി 9 മിനിറ്റിനുള്ള ആദ്യ ഷോയിൽ 'ഒടിയനെ' സ്‌ക്രീനിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു കാണുന്ന ആ നിമിഷത്തിലേക്കുള്ള ദൂരമാണ് ഇനി മുൻപിൽ. കാത്തിരുന്നതിനും കൂടെ നിന്നതിനും നന്ദി. ഒടിവിദ്യകളും മായക്കാഴ്ചകളും അണിയറയിൽ ഒരുങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. ശേഷം ഭാഗം, സ്‌ക്രീനിൽ!
