2018ൽ കേരളത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായ നിപ വൈറസ് ബാധയും അവയുടെ ചില നേർക്കാഴ്ചകളും ആണ് ആഷിഖ് അബു ഒരുക്കിയ വൈറസ് എന്ന ചിത്രം. ആദ്യ സീൻ മുതൽ പ്രേക്ഷകരെ പിടിച്ചിരുത്തുന്ന മേക്കിങ്ങ് സ്റ്റൈൽ ആണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ജീവൻ. ഒന്നേകാൽ മണിക്കൂർ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ആദ്യ പകുതിയിൽ ആദ്യ 40 മിനിറ്റ് വളരെ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ അങ്ങോട്ട് ഇന്റർവെൽ വരെ ഒരു ഇഴച്ചിൽ അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തിന്റെ ലെഫ്റ്റ് റൈറ്റ് ലെഫ്റ്റിലെ വട്ട് ജയൻ ഡോക്ടർ ആയാൽ എന്താണോ അത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ഡയലോഗുകൾ പറയുന്ന സീനുകൾ ഈ സീരിയസ് ചിത്രത്തിന് അല്പം നർമ്മം നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. രണ്ടാം പകുതി ചാക്കോച്ചന്റെയും പാർവതിയുടെയും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നോട്ട് പോക്ക് ചിത്രത്തിന് ചെറുതായെങ്കിലും ഒരു ഇൻവെസ്റ്റിഗേഷൻ മൂഡ് നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. ഒരു സീനിൽ വന്നവർ ഉൾപ്പടെ അഭിനേതാക്കൾ എല്ലാവരും മികച്ചു നിന്ന ഒരു സിനിമ എന്നു നിസ്സംശയം പറയാം. ടെക്നിക്കലി പടം സൂപ്പർ ആണ്.

സിനിമയുടെ അവസാന രംഗത്തിൽ രേവതി ഭാഗ്യലക്ഷ്മിയുടെ ശബ്ദത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗം ശരിക്കും ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ അത് വരെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു ഇഫക്റ്റ് നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പറയാതെ പറയേണ്ട ഒന്നിനെ പറഞ്ഞ് കുളമാക്കിയ പോലെ.

മൊത്തത്തിൽ ഒന്ന് കാണാനുണ്ട് ഈ സിനിമ, ചിത്രം പറയുന്ന വിഷയവും അതിന്റെ മേക്കിങ്ങിനും വേണ്ടി

Saw Virus. Definitely a half baked film done in a hurry. True, it has its moments, but definitely the narrative lacks focus and wanders here and there. The film surprisingly doesn’t impact on you emotionally. All the while seeing it, you feel distanced from the film. Revathy’s speech in the end is a big let down. It’s tastelessly direct, preachy and flat; whatever that’s said in the speech should have been shown in the film. This film makes me doubt even stronger that lensman is a highly prejudiced reviewer who always pampers his clan of directors. Or, is it that he is really a poor critic who is overrated by many?

 

അടുത്ത കാലത്തൊന്നും ഇത്രയും നല്ല സിനിമ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല..നല്ല സിനിമ മരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നറിയിക്കുന്ന സിനിമ..ലുസിഫെർ പോലുള്ള മസാലകൾ കാശുവാരുന്ന കേരളത്തിൽ കലാമൂല്യമുള്ള സിനിമകൾക്കും കാശുവാരാം എന്നു തെളിയിക്കും ഇതിന്റെ അണിയറപ്രവർത്തകർ. സൂപ്പർ സിനിമ..
